Welcome to the home page for the OMG BASIG BA Mapping Working Group. This site contains artifacts and other information about the Mapping Working Group's business architecture activities.

Charter

The BASIG Business Architecture Mapping Working Group is chartered to develop mapping artifacts that relate business architecture concepts, domains and standards.
This will enable members of the parent BASIG to pursue the BASIG’s charter supported by a common baseline of business architecture terminology, and a ready reference as to where the terminology is guided by existing standards.
 

Objectives

The key objectives of this project are:
1. To develop a preliminary vocabulary of business architecture concepts and terms
2. To analyze that vocabulary for coverage and consistency
3. to determine the extent to which the business architecture concepts are covered by current standards
4. To map the business architecture concepts to corresponding standards concepts
